Our in-person antenatal classes help you feel supported, informed, and ready for the journey ahead—offering practical guidance that’s truly relevant to giving birth and raising a newborn right here in Swakopmund.

Together with Flourish Physio, we offer six classes over three to four weeks, two evenings a week from 6:00 to 7:15 pm.
Typically on Tuesday & Thursday evenings
Venue: Swakopmund (exact location to be confirmed)
Classes
Each session includes a handout.
class 1: Pregnancy
What to expect in the final weeks of pregnancy, how to stay well, spot danger signs, manage common discomforts, and know when your baby is ready to arrive.
class 2: Birth
Learn what happens in your body during labour, when to go to hospital, and what to expect with natural birth or a C-section. We’ll also cover pain relief options to help you feel prepared.
Class 3: Birth balance & Position
Learn how movement, posture, and positions can make pregnancy more comfortable and help labour progress.
class 4: Breast- & Bottlefeeding
Get confident with latching, feeding, pumping, and knowing your baby is getting enough milk.
class 5: Newborn Care
Practical tips for caring for your baby, from nappies to safe sleep and emotional health.
Class 6: recovery in 4th Trimester
Take care of your body and mind as you adjust and recover while settling in with your newborn.
