Support

The Swakopmunder Clinic offers free Newborn support service for all moms in Swakop.

Tuesday mornings 09:00 – 13:00.

Is my baby getting enough milk? How do I latch my baby correctly? Can you overfeed a breastfed or bottle-fed baby? Does my baby need anything more than breastmilk?

We hear these questions a lot. Feeding a new baby can come with so many questions, especially in those first few weeks.
This service includes weighing your baby, gentle feeding support and practical advice, as well as time to talk through any common challenges or concerns you may have. If needed, we can also help refer you to the right healthcare professional for further assessment or specialised support.

The Swakopmunder Clinic also offers Vaccinations as per the national Namibian Schedule. For an appointment please contact: +264 81 879 7932

Your baby’s routine vaccinations usually start at around 6 weeks of age and continue according to the recommended childhood immunisation schedule. We can help guide you through what is due, answer any questions you may have, and make the process as calm and comfortable as possible for you and your baby.
